A sound-proofed partition can be removed, combining the Large Hall and Small Hall, creating a space for around 145 to be seated theatre style and many more standing for large parties.
Carpeted, with wood-topped tables and comfortable office chairs, this area is designed for meetings of 12 to 15 people. Projector and IT network provide full facilities for presentations, classes, discussion groups or meetings.
The Drop-in is a circulation space at the front of the building from which the other areas can be accessed. The Drop-in is an ideal social area outside the main halls, having a kitchenette for light catering with tables and chairs for eating & drinking. It is also equipped with a rocking chair, designed specifically for mothers to nurse babies, that was funded by a grant from Kent County Council under its Best Start for Life - Family Hub Programme.
The kitchen is fully equipped with electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer. A large servery area opens to face double doors leading into the large hall. A generous quantity of plates, cutlery, glasses, etc. is available at no extra charge.
The car park accommodates about 20 cars. Parking is also available along the normally quiet road outside and in the layby opposite.
The outdoor area offers immediate access to brick paving, attractively landscaped with planted beds and pots. Through a secure entrance there is access to a play area for young children.
